Setting Out Engineer

A residential developer is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of an apartment project in Wexford. This is a site-based role offering strong exposure to large-scale housing developments, working closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accurate setting out and smooth project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all setting out duties on housing projects
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately on site
• Ensure all works are set out in accordance with design and quality standards
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and consultants
• Maintain accurate site records and as-built documentation
• Support QA checks and ensure compliance with project requirements

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 1-3+ years' experience in a setting out / site engineering role
• Experience on residential or building projects preferred
• Competent with total station and surveying equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on site

Salary & Benefits

• €45,000 - €55,000 DOE
