Overview:

Opportunity for a Setting Out Engineer to join a leading Irish Main Contractor on the redevelopment and extension of a historic landmark in Co. Clare.

You'll be joining a highly regarded company with a strong track record delivering complex, high quality developments across Ireland, including conservation and restoration, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, education and residential projects.

The project itself will involve a varied mix of refurbishment, restoration and new-build works alongside external civil works, services, drainage, landscaping and associated site infrastructure, giving you excellent exposure from an engineering perspective.

It's an excellent opportunity for an Engineer looking to strengthen their setting out and technical experience while working alongside an experienced site team on a unique, high spec development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works across the development using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and design information.
• Carrying out levels, coordinates, as-built surveys and other engineering checks throughout construction.
• Working closely with the Site Manager, Senior Engineer, subcontractors and design team to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer in Ireland.
• Strong setting out experience with Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Experience on refurbishment or conservation projects would be advantageous.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect between €50,000 - €60,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension Scheme.
