Service Technician

Your role

Based at London Heathrow IAG Cargo, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure productivity, equipment availability, health & safety compliance, and quality. Responsibilities include:

• Performing malfunction and maintenance work, including preventive and periodic maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
• Resolving mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults.
• Responding rapidly to breakdowns and executing effective corrective maintenance.
• Logging all work and parts used into Maximo.
• Working in all areas: ULD Systems and Cage Systems.

Physical Requirements

• Walking and Mobility: Extensive walking, navigating various levels, and working at heights.
• Heavy Lifting: Lifting objects up to 75kg, following safety procedures.
• Restrictive Spaces: Comfortable working in tight areas, following safety guidelines.
• Noise Levels: Working in high-noise environments with PPE provided.

What we expect from you

As a Service Technician, your contribution to customer satisfaction is vital. We expect:

• Possession of a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical/electrical maintenance.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights.
• Experience with maintenance planning.

Nice to have

• Experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated environments.
• Experience in training or coaching.
