Job Description
Service Support Technician

Location: Field-based - Offaly, Westmeath, Louth & Meath

Transport: Van provided. Full Irish Driving License required.

Role Type: Full-time 45 hours per week

Reporting To: Senior Engineer

What you need to know

My client, a services management companyis looking to hire a Service Support Technician to join their expanding team.

Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Carry out site visits across Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
  • Repair equipment and replace parts where required.
  • Maintain appropriate stock of tools, parts and consumables.
  • Respond to service and maintenance requirements
What are we looking for?
  • Previous experience in a field-service, maintenance, engineering, mechanical or technical support role ideally.
  • Experience working with electrical or mechanical equipment would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of site visits.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly throughout Offaly, Westmeath, Louth and Meath.
  • Full training provided.
  • Irish driving license
