Service Introduction - Service Readiness - Central Government - SC clearance
I have an immediate opportunity for a Service Introduction/Service Readiness Manager for a central government team.
You will oversee service readiness so programme releases move safely into Business as Usual support. You will coordinate release readiness, service transition, defect management, operational acceptance and early life support. The work helps the client introduce and change services while keeping operational risk low during deployment and stabilisation.
Due to the nature of the client and the urgency of the role, candidates who are sole British Nationals and hold active SC clearance will be preferred.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have
- Experience delivering large-scale digital, data or technology programmes within government/public sector environments.
- Strong background in Release Management, Service Transition and Operational Readiness.
- Solid knowledge of defect management and quality assurance practices.
- Experience working with multiple suppliers and delivery partners and managing complex stakeholder groups.
- Confidence presenting recommendations and readiness positions to senior leadership and governance boards.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum and DevOps delivery approaches.
- Hands-on experience with service management tooling including ServiceNow and Jira.
- Strong analytical, planning and risk management skills.
