6 Month contract initially
Based: Hybrid/Gloucester.
Rate: £350 - £400 p/d (via Umbrella company)

* We are seeking a skilled Service Now Automation Analyst with knowledge in ServiceNow Admin, ServiceNow Developer, Python, Java scripts.
* The ServiceNow Automation Analyst is responsible for analysing, designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions within the ServiceNow platform to improve IT service delivery, operational efficiency, and user experience. This role focuses on leveraging ServiceNow capabilities such as workflows, integrations, and orchestration tools to automate business processes and reduce manual effort. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders across IT and business units to identify automation opportunities, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure successful deployment and maintenance of automated workflows
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyse automation requirements.
* Design and develop ServiceNow workflows, flows (Flow Designer), and Orchestration/IntegrationHub solutions.
* Implement end-to-end automation for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules.
* Create custom applications and extend ServiceNow platform capabilities as needed.
* Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems (eg, via REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub).
* Maintain technical documentation including process flows, solution designs, and test cases.
* Perform testing, validation, and deployment of automation solutions.
* Monitor performance and efficiency of automated workflows; identify and implement improvements.
* Ensure compliance with change management and governance processes.
* Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on ServiceNow automation features.
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM.
* Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub.
* Knowledge of Scripting languages like JavaScript and familiarity with Glide API.
* Experience with web technologies (REST/SOAP, XML, JSON).
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
* Additional certifications (eg, Certified Application Developer, ITSM, ITOM) are a plus
Key Skills & Experience:
* ServiceNow Development:
o Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and development.
o Proficiency with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub.
* Automation Experience:
o Experience building automation workflows for ITSM (eg, Incident, Change, Request) and other modules.
* Scripting & APIs:
o Proficient in JavaScript, especially Glide Scripting within ServiceNow.
o Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.
* Platform Knowledge:
o Solid understanding of core ServiceNow modules: ITSM, Catalog, CMDB, etc.
* Problem-Solving & Analysis:
o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for automation issues and platform bugs.
* Documentation:
o Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, processes, and configurations.
* Certifications:
o ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
* Advanced ServiceNow Features:
o Experience with Orchestration, Discovery, Event Management, or Virtual Agent.
o Knowledge of Custom Application Development within ServiceNow.
* Additional Certifications:
o ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
o Certifications in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or IntegrationHub.
* Integration Tools:
o Familiarity with IntegrationHub Spokes (eg, Azure, AWS, Microsoft Teams).
* DevOps and CI/CD:
o Experience using Git, Jenkins, or ServiceNow App Repo for version control and deployment.
* Agile/Scrum Methodology:
o Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
* Other Technical Skills:
o Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS, or Bootstrap for UI customization.
o Familiarity with PowerShell or Python for Back End or external automation.
* Soft Skills:
o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
o Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
