About Henffordd GardensThis is one of our Extra Care Schemes. This service predominately supports the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain independence.
About Pump PieceThis service is supporting individuals with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and Mild Learning disabilities. We recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is person centred and tailored to their needs. The role is to promote the individual's independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of support. We offer people with PMLD a safe and secure home where they can live independently with the support they need.
Position: Service ManagerAs the Service Manager at both these services, you will be at the heart of our community, overseeing the delivery of exceptional care and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: You'll lead a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring they provide personalized support to the people we support. Your guidance will foster a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence.
- Individualized Care: Each person's needs are unique. You'll collaborate with our support workers to tailor services to meet those needs, whether it's daily assistance or round-the-clock support.
- Quality Assurance: You'll maintain high standards of care, compliance, and safety. Regular assessments and continuous improvement initiatives will be part of your role.
- Community Engagement: Pump Piece and Henffordd Gardens is more than just a residence; it's a community. You'll engage with the people we support, their families, and local partners to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
- Leadership: You have experience managing a team and inspiring them to deliver exceptional care.
- Empathy: You understand the importance of dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
- Organizational Skills: Juggling responsibilities and priorities come naturally to you.
- Healthcare Background: Experience working with vulnerable adults.
- Qualifications: While not mandatory, an NVQ Level 5 qualification would be advantageous. We need someone who is a Registered Manager.
