Service Manager Bury St Edmunds

We are looking for a full-time Registered Service Manager to lead 2 of our services in Bury St Edmunds, supporting people with a learning disability to live the life they choose.

This is a hands on leadership role with the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day. in this role, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver high quality, person centred support while creating an environment where both colleagues and the people we support can thrive.

The role involves overseeing the day to day running of the service, providing clear leadership, developing staff teams, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with families, commissioners, and partner agencies. A key part of the position is maintaining high standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring ongoing compliance with CQC requirements.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in health and social care, ideally with experience supporting people with a learning disability. Excellent people management skills, a practical and values led approach to leadership, and a good understanding of what great support looks like in practice are essential. You must also have or be willing to work towards a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).

Your working week will be Mon - Fri 9-5 as standard, however weekend cover may be required occasionally.
