Audi North Dublin is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to assist the Aftersales Manager to run a large service department. This leadership role requires a professional capable of driving business profitability while maintaining brand strict premium luxury standards. In conjunction with the Aftersales Manager, the successful candidate will assist overseeing workshop operations, assist to lead a dedicated service team, and ensure an unmatched customer experience.
- Manage and motivatea high-performing team including Service Advisors, Workshop Controller and Technicians.
- Oversee individual performancemetrics, training logs, and coordinate technical training
- Maximise workshop productivityand resource optimization using advanced dealer management systems (e.g., CDK/Keyloop).
- Partner with the Workshop Controllerto monitor work loading, progress reports, and job prioritisation.
- Ensure full compliancewith brand service procedures, warranty documentation, and internal invoicing deadlines.
- Enforce health and safetyguidelines strictly, maintaining a pristine and compliant workshop floor.
- Drive labour sales, service plans, and aftersales accessory targets to maximize departmental profitability.
- Collaborate with Partsand Sales Managersto create cohesive dealership growth plans.
- Deliver luxury serviceexperiences that match the expectations of a premium brand
- Resolve complex queriesand customer escalations swiftly, upholding superior customer service
- Implement follow-up proceduresto guarantee transparency in technical explanations and invoicing.
- Minimum 3-5 yearsof experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager, preferably in a prestige or premium franchise.
- Deep technicalunderstandingof modern automotive technologies, including Electric Vehicles and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong commercial acumenwith experience analysing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Technician efficiency and recovery rates.
- Outstanding leadership abilityto steer, inspire, and keep a fast-paced team calm under daily pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for professional customer and manufacturer interaction.
- A full, cleanIrish/EU driving licence
