Our client is a well-established and highly reputable organisation operating within the commercial vehicle sector, known for delivering high-quality service and aftersales support across Ireland. With a strong presence and continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales function at their Naas depot.
The RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring operational efficiency, excellent customer service, and strong commercial performance.
The role will oversee both the workshop and customer service functions, working closely with an experienced and capable team, while reporting directly to a highly experienced Aftersales Director.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full service department, including workshop and customer service operations
- Leading and supporting a team including CSR staff, Workshop Supervisor, Sales Prep Supervisor, and Bus Supervisor
- Ensuring the workshop operates efficiently, meeting productivity and profitability targets
- Driving high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Overseeing job card management, quotations, and service processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness
- Supporting technical queries, customer requirements, and tender processes
- Monitoring KPIs, budgets, and overall financial performance of the department
- Maintaining and enforcing structured processes across all service operations
- Leading, motivating, and developing the team, including managing performance and addressing challenges when required
Our client is seeking an experienced Service Manager with:
- Proven experience in a similar Service Manager or Aftersales leadership role
- Strong background in the commercial vehicle or truck sector (essential)
- Solid technical knowledge, with the ability to support both customers and internal teams
- Demonstrated people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and drive performance
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and workshop profitability
- A process driven mindset, with the ability to implement and maintain structured systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong stakeholder engagement abilities
This role is well suited to a hands on leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and can balance technical, operational, and commercial priorities.
The Team & Support- Managing a strong and experienced team including workshop supervisors, service supervisors and customer service reps.
- Salary: €70,000+ (depending on experience)
- Bonus: €5,000 (performance related KPIs)
- Pension: 3% contribution
- Annual Leave: 21 days
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Additional: Every 4th Saturday (month end, included in salary)
