Job Description
Overview

We are hiring for our client, a leading engineering solutions provider, who are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment while supporting customers across Ireland. You will be home-based, travelling mainly throughout central and southern Ireland, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of specialist industrial machinery.

The Role
  • Install, service and maintain a range of industrial equipment at client sites
  • Diagnose faults, carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the service coordinator
  • Work independently while representing the business to the highest professional standards
The Person
  • Time-served or qualified Engineer with experience in field service or maintenance engineering
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across central and southern Ireland
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
