Job Description
My Client based in Kings Lynn are currently looking for a Service Desk Technician to join them on a 6-9 month contract opportunity to support them with a Windows roll out programme. This role is 5 days on site and is paying £14.85 per hour, Inside IR35 weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities;
- Responding to inquiries and requests: Answering phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from users.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues: Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware problems, often using remote tools.
- Managing support tickets: Tracking, prioritizing, and updating tickets in a service desk system.
- Providing technical support: Guiding users through systems configuration and troubleshooting.
- Escalating complex issues: Identifying and escalating issues that require specialised expertise.
- Maintaining documentation: Keeping up-to-date documentation of IT systems and procedures.
- Providing customer service: Communicating clearly and professionally with users to ensure their satisfaction.
- Build and configure hardware: Setting up new devices and configuring them for use
- Work with various technologies: Utilising Windows Server environments, cloud services, and other technologies
- Participate in projects: Contributing to IT projects, including planning, implementation, and testing.
