Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Bromsgrove. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating multiple priorities.

The Role

As a Service Coordinator, the successful candidate will provide essential planning and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of customer service operations. Working closely with engineers, customers and internal departments, them will be responsible for scheduling work, managing customer enquiries and ensuring service jobs are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, booking and scheduling work for field-based and workshop engineers.
  • Coordinating engineer diaries to maximise efficiency and meet customer requirements.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Managing inbound and outbound communications with customers and engineers.
  • Resolving customer queries and providing regular updates on service requests.
  • Booking travel and accommodation for engineers when required.
  • Processing service documentation and maintaining accurate records on internal systems.
  • Updating CRM and service management systems to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Raising invoices and supporting the administration of completed service jobs.
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider customer service team.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Planner, Customer Service Coordinator or Administration role.
  • Experience working within a busy customer service or scheduling environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and CRM systems.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
