We're looking for a mechanically minded and solutions-driven team member to join our Timaru workshop as a Service Coordinator. You'll work side by side with the Service Manager, playing a key role in the organisation and allocation of customer jobs and ensuring our technicians' skills are best utilized to meet our customers' needs.
About the RoleTaking job bookings and customer calls, opening jobs accordingly.
Organising daily job schedules for technicians in both the field and workshop, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Providing job assistance to our technicians in the field and in the workshop.
Collaborating with our Parts Team to arrange parts required, ensuring efficient and timely communication.
Checking documentation, including ROs, for accuracy prior to processing and ensuring all warranty paperwork is completed correctly.
Liaising with customers regarding the status of their machines and preparing quotes as needed.
About YouMechanical aptitude - demonstrated experience with agricultural and/or construction and forestry equipment would be a bonus!
Proven ability to manage time and scheduling of others efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience engaging with customers, preferably within a relevant industry.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as attention to detail.
Experience using a range of software related to your work, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
