Job Description
Service Advisor - Brighton

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a busy dealership in Brighton. Applicants must have previous Service Advisor experience within the automotive industry, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details

Location: Brighton
Salary: £32,000 basic + bonus
OTE: £38,000, uncapped
Hours: 42 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8:00am-6:00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota

Service Advisor Role
  • Book MOTs, servicing and vehicle repair work
  • Manage customer enquiries by telephone, online and in person
  • Keep customers updated throughout their vehicle's time in the workshop
  • Advise customers on warranty cover and suitable parts and accessories
  • Liaise with the Aftersales team to schedule appointments around workshop capacity
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update booking systems
  • Manage a busy customer workload while delivering excellent customer service
Service Advisor Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar Service Advisor role within the automotive industry
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and build customer rapport
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an Aftersales team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP or similar dealer management systems is advantageous
