Service Advisor

£31,000 - £32,000 Basic Salary £38,000 OTE + Uncapped

Permanent Full Time

Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Our client, a busy main dealership, is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join their established Aftersales team.

The department currently has two Service Advisors and is looking to appoint a third. With the team handling approximately 20-22 customers per day, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor who is comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers and providing a professional and efficient service.
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and accurately recording customer requirements.
  • Managing customer expectations throughout the service and repair process.
  • Liaising closely with Technicians and Workshop Control.
  • Providing customers with regular updates on the progress of their vehicle.
  • Identifying additional work and discussing repair requirements with customers.
  • Preparing and explaining invoices to customers.
  • Maximising customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
  • Ensuring all relevant systems and customer records are kept accurately updated.

Your Background & Skills

  • Previous Service Advisor experience within a main dealership is essential.
  • Experience working within a busy Aftersales environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confident discussing technical information and additional repair work with customers.
  • Kerridge RTC experience is preferred.
  • ServiceDoc experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Professional, customer-focused and commercially aware approach.
