Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive dealership in St Helens, Merseyside, for the position of Service Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to join a reputable company recognised for delivering outstanding customer service and industry excellence.
- Competitive basic salary of £32,000, with an uncapped OTE of approximately £38,000
- Monday to Friday working week, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis
- Up to 34 days of annual leave, including bank holidays

- Greet customers professionally and serve as the primary contact for vehicle servicing and repairs
- Clearly explain service options, additional products, and upsell opportunities
- Accurately record customer vehicle details and requirements
- Manage appointment scheduling and provide vehicle updates to customers
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently
- Liaise with workshop team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery
- Handle customer queries, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Promote service and accessory sales to maximise departmental performance
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area, upholding high standards of customer service
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Kerridge or similar dealership management software is preferable
- Technical understanding of vehicle servicing, repairs, and warranty procedures is an advantage
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
