About The OpportunityOur client is seeking a Service Advisor who is ready to take charge in this pivotal role. The candidate will be the face of the service department, responsible for managing customer interactions and driving performance metrics. Key responsibilities will include:
- Owning every customer interaction, face to face and over the phone, with confidence and professionalism
- Quoting, selling, and closing work by clearly communicating value and effectively handling objections
- Consistently meeting KPIs related to gross profit, total sales, and customer satisfaction
- Tracking every job from booking to completion, ensuring all details are attended to
- Ensuring timely ordering of parts to guarantee job readiness, ensuring no delays
- Maintaining an organised schedule that fosters efficiency and smooth operations
- Following up on outstanding work to convert missed opportunities into revenue
- Coordinating jobs to maximise technician productivity and eliminate downtime
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor
- An automotive background is preferred
- A strong sales ability supported by a successful track record
- An acute attention to detail and a commitment to follow through
