You'll work closely with business units to deliverpractical, outcome-focused solutions that make safety real, visibleand valued. Your influence will help drive continuous improvement,build leadership capability, and ensure the City meets its duty ofcare with confidence and clarity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate key WHS projects and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of WHS strategy andframework
  • Provide expert advice on WHS systems, contractormanagement, and injury management
  • Coach and mentor people leaders
  • Drive continuous improvement and risk management
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners and contribute tobroader HR programs
  • Build strong relationships across the City and influencepositive safety outcomes

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a qualified and experienced WHSprofessional who's passionate about supporting the team increating safe, healthy, and sustainable workplaces. You'llideally bring:

  • Certificate IV in WHS (minimum)
  • Broad experience in WHS roles within large, diverseorganisations
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and practicalapplication
  • Experience in workers' compensation andreturn-to-work planning
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagementskills
  • Proven ability to lead projects from end-to-end, includingcoordinating teams
  • ICAM investigation training (desirable)
