Description
- This role combines the roles of Test Coordinator for the standard new functionalities with the role of responsible for follow-up and control of solutions to operational incidents from the Helpdesk operation.
- Within the ICT department of Client, the challenges around digitization are numerous and we have several teams that are active. At the same time, the applications within Client must be able to quickly follow changes in current events and policy.
- Within the solutions made available, maximum use will be made of online tools that will be developed by the ICT department.
- An important task of the Test Coordinator is to ensure that the planning and execution of the test activities are followed up so that they are easily repeatable during the various sprints within the development phase and that regression tests are also regularly carried out, preferably in an automated way, so that quality is continuously monitored.
- The Test Coordinator, in consultation with the Test Lead and the Test Automator of the team, will analyse the situation within a project and help find out how the Test Automation can best be implemented in addition to the existing test activities.
- As a Test Coordinator, you will work with various teams of developers, architects and functional analysts. You plan, organize and coordinate the execution of different test levels and support the implementation of automated tests, based on the test scenarios and stories built by the experts involved to ensure coverage of both expected and unexpected behaviour of the applications.
- In collaboration with the stakeholders, you determine the pragmatic test approach in consultation with the Test Lead.
- In addition to the role of Test Coordinator, the profile is also responsible for the validation activities within the operational Helpdesk. You support the Business experts as a point of contact for incidents that have been identified within an operational Production environment. You will help with the "root-cause analysis" of the problems and help the Business managers to analyse and validate the solutions provided by the development team.
- These validations are done in collaboration with Business experts and in separate environments that closely match the Production environment. Sometimes these delivered solutions are made available to validate and prepare for the Production environment in a short period of time. This follow-up is therefore a parallel process in addition to the standard Agile Sprint operation for the new functionalities.

Specific Skills:
- Experience and knowledge of the helpdesk process and follow-up of operational incidents and solutions
- Experience in clearly reporting and documenting test results
- Operational experience within a Helpdesk with Business experts
- Knowledge and experience with software development using the SCRUM methodology
- Ability to take on an advisory role in determining the Test Approach, tools, and test
- Ability to implement and maintain the common test strategy applied by the employer
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication (SOAP or REST APIs, events for
- Experience as a Test Coordinator or Test Manager
- Experience with tools such as SOAP UI, ReadyAPI, Postman
- Understanding of 'shift left' testing approach and ability to apply it in an agile team
