Senior UX Designer - London, UK. 3 months (with the possibility of extension). 01/03/2026 - 31/05/2026. £368.39 per day (Inside IR35). 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid 2 days/week with occasional travel to Nottingham).
Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design work on a critical initiative that will shape the future of our subscription experience. This is a hands-on role where you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to deliver both tactical improvements and strategic redesigns. You'll work closely with stakeholders across product, e-commerce, legal, and engineering to bring commercially impactful, user-centric solutions to life.
Responsibilities- Lead discovery and user research to validate freemium models, pricing strategies, and monetisation opportunities with a human-centred lens.
- Design end-to-end user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that clearly articulate the value of premium experiences and subscription options.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.
- Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions to explore experience improvements and future flexibility.
- Deliver polished UI in Figma, from early concepts through to high-fidelity designs.
- Champion accessibility and usability, ensuring compliance and exceptional user experience.
- Support seamless journeys for subscription management, including cross-sell, upsell, and cancellation flows.
- Proven experience designing digital products, ideally in e-commerce or subscription-based SaaS. Case studies with feature gating preferred.
- Strong UX and UI design skills, comfortable taking ideas from discovery to delivery.
- Ability to frame ambiguous problems, define opportunities, and explore multiple solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in Figma and familiar with whiteboarding/prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of freemium models, pricing strategies, and designing experiences that drive conversion and retention.
- Experience planning and conducting user research.
- Commercial mindset, able to balance user needs and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with experimentation, analytics, and measuring design impact.
