Senior User Researcher

Role: Senior User Researcher
Rate: £550 - £575 p/d (Via Umbrella)
Location: Remote (1-2 days a week Canary Wharf)
Duration: End of November 2026

We are looking for highly capable Senior User Researcher to lead user-centred research across complex digital services. This role requires someone who can operate confidently in fast-paced, product-focused delivery environments.

Technical & Delivery Expectations:

* Experience working in Agile, product-focused delivery environments
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to sprint ceremonies, and ensure user insights directly shape product and service decisions.

* Alignment with DDaT Senior User Researcher standards
You will lead research activities, guide teams in best-practice methods, and ensure research quality across the programme.

* Skilled in mixed-methods research
Able to plan and deliver a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches, selecting the right method for the research question and delivery phase.

* Strong stakeholder engagement
Comfortable working with product managers, designers, developers, policy teams, and senior leaders to ensure user needs are understood, prioritised, and Embedded in decision-making.

* Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
You will turn research findings into clear, evidence-based guidance that informs design, strategy, and delivery.
