We are working with an award-winning placemaking practice of architects and masterplanners with studios in London and Bristol. The practice undertakes placemaking projects at every scale, from cities and towns to neighbourhoods, streets, and the design of individual buildings.

Their London studio is seeking a creative and ambitious Senior Urban Designer to lead on a number of exciting and high-profile visioning and masterplanning projects for urban extensions, large-scale new neighbourhoods, and garden villages across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for collaboration and the creation of sustainable, biodiverse places. You will bring significant experience in leading projects of this nature, guiding them through stages of vision development and masterplanning, and on to the preparation of design coding, regulatory plans, and proving layouts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly confident, proactive, and talented urban designer with a proven record of managing project teams and building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local communities.

Key Requirements:

Significant experience in visioning, masterplanning, and design coding for large-scale urban projects.

Proven ability to manage and lead project teams.

Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD, and hand-drawing.

Postgraduate qualification in Urban Design (essential); architectural background advantageous.
