Senior Trader

Job Title: Senior Trader LATAM

Location: Near Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Trader LATAM to join our client's team near Amsterdam. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of trading within the LATAM region, identifying market opportunities, and driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop trade opportunities within the LATAM region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contracts.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless handling of transactions.
• Expand the customer network and drive business growth in the region.
• Prepare detailed reports and analyses on trading activities and market trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trader within the LATAM region, preferably in the agricultural, food, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and currency dynamics.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and translate them into commercial success.
• Willingness to travel within the EMEA region for customer visits, trade shows, and meetings.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish & Portugese plus.
• HBO degree or equivalent.
