About the RoleAs a member of the Farm Technical Team, you will support teaching delivery and demonstrate equipment and techniques, providing support and guidance to students on our FE and HE courses. You will create a positive, industry relevant learning environment to enhance the employability prospects of students. You will provide technical support and guidance to academic colleagues within the farm resource, ensuring all staff and students work safely and escalating issues where necessary. Working within the team, you will maintain a high standard of livestock health and welfare, crop production and machinery operation and maintenance. You will identify appropriate personal development opportunities, keep current with relevant knowledge, trends and technology, and apply this learning to practice. You will connect with internal and external networks to enhance delivery, and be a team player supporting others in a positive environment.
Special Requirements- Accommodation is included with the expectation to live on campus to fulfil the role.
- Emergency on call for the Farm resource outside of core hours.
- Working weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota.
- Occasional lone working and late night checks.
