Senior Technical DB, DC Pensions Administrator/Analyst

My client is a leading pensions consultancy recruiting for a Senior Pensions Administrator / Analyst, Defined Contribution / DB to join their team in Edinburgh. There is also an option to work within their project and technical team for those interested in in-depth technical and analytical work.

This position is available due to new business wins. The successful candidate will manage their own set of DB/DC schemes and work at the forefront of the team. Previous technical experience in defined benefit/final salary pensions and DC schemes is essential, along with some client management experience within pensions. Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable but not mandatory.

You will work with clients holding a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. A thorough understanding of scheme rules, current legislation, and cradle-to-grave pensions administration is required, along with project management skills. As your experience grows, opportunities for client-facing work may arise. Strong technical knowledge of DC schemes is essential; experience with DB schemes is a plus but not necessary.
