Job Purpose
As a Senior Water Network Technical Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and implementing best practices across our network. You'll dive into a variety of challenges-whether identified internally or through cutting-edge external sources-and transform them into actionable insights that drive excellence.
Your expertise will ensure consistent and effective information flow across our Water Network family, turning lessons learned into strategic improvements. You'll be instrumental in developing and supporting initiatives that empower our field teams, ensuring they're equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to excel.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Drive Operational Excellence - Support the Network Technical Team in implementing best practices and operational improvements across all network hub areas.
- Optimise Performance - Play a key role in developing and delivering streamlined processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be the Network Link - Work as part of a dedicated team ensuring seamless collaboration and procedural consistency across network hubs.
- Provide Expert Technical Insight - Act as a go-to advisor, offering independent and holistic technical support for both local and wider hub areas.
- Champion Quality & Consistency - Help implement a unified approach to managing quality performance, ensuring best practices are upheld.
- Ensure Compliance & Standards - Support the Technical Assurance & Compliance Manager in rolling out policies that drive consistency and excellence across the network.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis - Serve as an impartial facilitator for technical reviews, ensuring thorough and effective Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Technical Skills & Experience
- Process & Governance Excellence - Demonstrated ability to develop, embed, and enhance robust processes and procedures, ensuring effective governance across operations.
- Strategic & Technical Insight - Strong understanding of business drivers and how Water Network and Technical Compliance teams contribute to organisational success, backed by solid technical expertise in water network operations.
- Collaborative & Hands-On Support - Willingness to travel to site offices to work closely with local teams, offering practical guidance and fostering strong working relationships.
- Advanced Analytical & Communication Skills - Skilled in interpreting complex datasets using tools like Exasol, Tableau, and ArcMap, and confident in tailoring communications for diverse stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving - Proven track record of identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and driving ongoing optimisation through strategic improvement plans.

Qualifications
- Qualifications - Minimum HNC or NVQ Level 4, or proven relevant experience in Water Network operations, supported by a technical qualification.
Full UK Driving Licence - Essential for travel across network sites.
