Senior Team Leader (Grounds)

The Senior Team Leader (Grounds) is responsible for managing the delivery of grounds maintenance services across Cheshire East, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. Leading a team of Grounds Team Leaders and frontline staff, the postholder oversees daily operations, develops procedures, manages budgets and equipment, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role involves engaging with internal teams, councillors, and the public to maintain and improve public open spaces, while driving service improvements and operational change.

We're looking for a confident and proactive leader with strong people management skills and a background in grounds maintenance or environmental services. You'll be organised, resilient, and capable of managing a large operational team while ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the ability to work independently, engage with stakeholders, and drive service improvements across Cheshire East's public spaces.
