Senior Stock Controller

Overview

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Stock Controller to work for a packaging company based in Leicester.

This is a permanent position direct with our client

The Job

PLEASE NOTE : THIS IS A STOCK CONTROLLER JOB, NOT A ROLE WHERE A BIT OF STOCK TAKING IS DONE

• Working as part of the factory/warehouse team overseeing the company's stock.
• Regular stock checking which will be counting and checking various stock items.
• Putting away new deliveries
• Updating stock amounts on computer systems
• Using Microsoft Excel to complete various reports
• Helping with deliveries and moving stock around factory
• Operating a forklift if you have certification
• Hours of work are 8 hours per day - Start Time is 7am
• Salary is negotiable depending on your experience

Person specification

• Previous stock controller experience is REQUIRED
• You must have been looking after multi million £ level of stock
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good mathematical skills
• If you have experience of using a forklift, this would be an advantage
• Good team player and able to work on own initiative
