As a Senior Staff Nurse at our hospital, you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body (such as NMC) and hold relevant qualifications and experience. This includes post-registration experience, mentoring skills, and knowledge of multi-specialty surgical procedures. Qualifications in teaching, assessment, and management are desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading by example and embodying the Nuffield Health way of caring
• Mentoring junior colleagues and recognizing talent
• Applying excellent clinical skills and empathetic patient care
• Making autonomous decisions to ensure quality care
• Supervising junior nursing staff and students
• Participating in scheduling, recruitment, induction, performance reviews, and training
