An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic RMN /RGN to join our award winning team on Garner Ward (Dementia Inpatient Services).

Main duties of the job- The post holder will provide effective and efficient clinical leadership within the defined clinical area ensuring care delivery meets and addresses the issues spirituality, equality and diversity and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
- Act as a role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the values of the organisation, in a way that will ensure effective communication pathways exist with internal and external stakeholders aimed at developing current models of care.
- The post holder will be expected to engage and motivate colleagues to generate and implement ideas to nurture a culture of quality improvement.
We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

Person Specification Education / Qualifications- Current professional registration - NMC.
- Working knowledge and experience of application of the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
- Knowledge and application of KSF, PDR systema, workforce planning and management.
- RMN/RGN
- Experience of working in a supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills.
- Able to prioritise workload and manage stress in self and others.
- Proven IT skills with application to practice.
- Proven organisational skills.
