Job Description
We are looking for a hard working sous to join our team in the opening of a new restaurant in Belfast city centre.
Serving seasonal local ingredients with flavour from all over the world. This will be a grill and seafood restaurant serving large cuts of meat and fresh seafood. Previous experience in this type of food is essential.
- Assist the head chef in maintaining the standard of the food.
- Cover head chefs days off.
- Ensure excellent standards including compliance with all HACCP responsibilities.
- Assist in the development menu.
- Work with local and seasonal produce.
- Develop and train the kitchen team.
- Work to gross profit margins.
Summary
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be a key leader in our culinary team, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations and assisting the head chef in the running of the kitchen. With core skills in culinary expertise, food safety, and hospitality, you will ensure high-quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences. Your premium skills in supervising, team management, and food production will be essential in leading and motivating our kitchen staff to deliver top-notch service.
