Senior Solution Architect - Web Applications

Mosaic Island are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to work on a client experienced in the Web Applications domain.

We require a Senior Solution Architect to take over architectural leadership of the customer-facing web application stream within the Fusion X platform. The role is not hands-on development, but a specialist, consultant-level SA with strong Front End web application architecture experience who can quickly pick up existing decisions and in-flight work, embed with delivery teams, and provide clear architectural direction.

The emphasis is on continuity, momentum, and confident architectural leadership in a complex, established environment, rather than defining a new greenfield solution.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership

• Own and drive the web app architectural approach.
• Provide a coherent driving view for customer web applications.
• Ensure continuity with existing architectural decisions and artefacts.

Delivery Engagement

• Embed with delivery teams to influence and guide implementation.
• Work closely with EPAM delivery to provide architectural direction and oversight.
• Act as the primary architectural escalation and decision point for the web app stream.

Core Skills and Experience

• Strong web application architecture experience, with a focus on customer-facing, Front End web apps.
• Ability to operate credibly across architecture and engineering discussions.
• Experience inheriting and progressing an existing architecture rather than resetting it.

Exclusions

• Not a hands-on developer role.
• Not a generic Solution Architect

This is an Inside IR35/Via Umbrella opportunity which is a hybrid role from home and some days in the Yeovil office per week.
