- 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., large language models, multi-modal, large vision models) or GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
- Experience in developing highly available, low-latency, and scalable distributed systems for real-time communication.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects to build and deploy advanced AI agents using Generative AI/LLMs, and managing relationships with external customers.

We embrace this approach in Applied AI and work with a growing set of customers to help them build customer support agents for chat, voice and beyond.
In this role, you will guide this mission-critical team. You will define the future of customer interaction, leading a team at the front office of applied AI in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing team of developers, foster a culture of high velocity, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Be at the forefront of developing AI agents working closely with our growing set of customers and applying domain expertise in building AI agents in the domain of customer support.
- Serve as the team's key technical leader, understand complex system design, performance, and reliability issues to guide the team to robust solutions.
- Define the technical roadmap for integrating the AI agents into various ecosystems of first party and third party chat and voice surfaces.
- Work closely with the Applied AI product and quality teams and with our partners in Google Deep Mind by fostering an action oriented and agile environment to accelerate development and execution in a rapidly evolving domain.
