General Summary:

As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of the SW team responsible for Motion Planning of the next-generation L2-L4 Automated driving stack. Your work will span production, pre-production, and demo development over the immediate-to-5+ year product horizon. You will work with high independence and lead in- and inter-team topics while coaching and supporting peers to foster team growth.

The team is agile, cross-site, cross-functional and has end-to-end responsibility on the SW level. You will jointly own the Motion Planning algorithms and their implementation, ensuring quality, and scaling during the entire product lifecycle - from concept through to implementation, integration, V&V, production, and addressing post-production defects. Must-Have requirements for the role:
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science, robotics, or similar
  • Strong background and working experience with Trajectory Optimization (Multi-objective optimization, MPC, LQR, NLP, QP, etc.)
  • Experience with Decision Making for robotics
  • Advanced C++, version control
  • Software Engineering expertise
  • Test-driven development experience
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in AD/ADAS feature or system development
  • Path finding expertise
  • Experience with robust software design for safety-critical systems
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Familiarity with dependability (FUSA/SOTIF)
  • Familiarity with Automotive SW standards (AUTOSAR, MISRA)
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering
