Senior Software Engineer, Front-End

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful product initiatives across international markets while helping shape engineering culture and best practices within a collaborative, high-performing team.

This is a frontend-focused position where you will take primary ownership of building engaging, high-quality user experiences for customer-facing products while also contributing to full-stack feature development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build intuitive, high-quality frontend experiences using modern web technologies.
• Develop and deliver new full-stack features from concept through production.
• Integrate with existing services and expand platform functionality using React, TypeScript, and backend technologies.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Take ownership of projects throughout the entire development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to implementation and deployment.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Help drive innovation and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

What We're Looking For Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Proven experience building modern, responsive, production-grade web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience with server-side TypeScript frameworks and technologies, particularly Remix, Next.js, or Express.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production support practices.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and lead technical initiatives.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to full-stack development in scalable, customer-facing applications.
