Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable backend architectures using Ruby on Rails to support complex clinical data and asynchronous messaging systems.
• Collaborate cross functionally with designers and product managers to shape product outcomes and proactively solve ambiguous technical challenges.
• Implement modular, well tested code across the stack while exploring AI assisted development workflows to increase team velocity and impact.

Qualifications

• Possesses 5+ years of commercial software experience with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails and designing production grade backend systems.
• Demonstrates a pragmatic, action oriented mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into modular, maintainable code using RSpec or Jest.
• Shows curiosity for modern frontend frameworks like Vue3 or Nuxt and an active interest in staying ahead with AI driven development tools.
