Senior Software Developer Node.js/React - (Cloud Native project)

Assignment description

For our client we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with Node.js & React experience to join their Cloud Native unit. You will work on modern digital services across multiple industries-from the public sector to major consumer brands such as Sanoma and Kesko. The team consists of 50+ skilled developers and digital service experts.

Skills Required:

• Approx. 7 years of experience in software development
• Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js and React
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure or AWS
• Ability to work in customer-facing projects, including occasional on-site visits in the Helsinki area
• Excellent proficiency in Finnish
• Good understanding of cloud-native software development practices
• Willingness to collaborate closely with designers, architects, and other developers
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in customer projects

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with modern DevOps tools and pipelines
• Familiarity with microservices or serverless architectures
• Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD
• Previous experience in consulting or customer projects (not mandatory)
• Experience with TypeScript

Contract:

Initial contract is for 3 months with potential to be hired full time after 3 months

Location: Helsinki Metropolitan area with opportunity to work some of the time Remotely, candidates should already be based in Finland and speak fluent Finnish.
