Senior Social Worker, Foster Care & Child Welfare

The role provides the opportunity to work with Foster Carers and colleagues across Children's Service. You will support the shared vision for children to receive the best care and for Shropshire Councils Fostering Families to be provided the best support.
The successful candidate will primarily have a caseload of mainstream foster carers The successful candidate will support and supervise foster carers, ensuring stable and nurturing home environments are afforded to Shropshire's children and young people. Support developments within the team and across service.
