Senior Site Manager

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to join a new build project in Ellesmere Port.

This is a general construction role, so we're looking for someone with a strong all-round background in managing new build projects, subcontractors and site teams from start through to completion.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams
• Keep the project on programme and to a high standard
• Manage health & safety and site documentation
• Check quality and make sure works are completed right first time
• Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client team
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates
• Manage short-term programmes and site logistics
• Deal with any issues on site and keep the project moving

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager
• Strong new build construction background
• Good knowledge of general building construction
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong H&S and quality awareness
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Good communication and organisational skills
