We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a leading construction business delivering a major residential led development in East London. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key leadership role requiring a proactive and decisive individual capable of managing large site teams, coordinating multiple subcontractors, and driving programme performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience & Qualifications- Proven experience delivering large scale residential or mixed use developments.
- Strong track record of managing sizeable site teams and multiple subcontractor packages simultaneously.
- Experience working on complex construction projects with high workforce levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience using digital construction management platforms.
- Strong commercial awareness and people management skills.
- Ability to make effective staffing and resource decisions to maintain project performance.
- Strong planning and organisational abilities with a focus on short and medium term programming.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors to achieve programme objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
- Experience chairing meetings and producing clear action plans.
- Strong stakeholder management and client facing communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with operational, commercial, design, and logistics teams.
- Manage day to day site operations and oversee all site based activities.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors to ensure programme and quality objectives are achieved.
- Chair regular coordination meetings and monitor progress against agreed actions.
- Review site records and ensure accurate reporting across all workstreams.
- Assist with programme management, look ahead planning, and resource forecasting.
- Work closely with project teams to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Coordinate with commercial and design departments to ensure construction activities are fully supported.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor quality assurance processes and site inspection regimes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, consultants, inspectors, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Support site logistics planning and ongoing operational improvements.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure effective coordination of all trades and activities.
- Contribute to procurement planning, subcontractor management, and package reviews where required.
