Senior Site Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the construction of a 68-home residential development in Gravesend. This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Full on-site management of the residential development from start through to completion
• Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Programming and coordinating works to meet project milestones
• Conducting site meetings and reporting progress to senior management
• Managing snagging, handovers, and final completions
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or experienced Site Manager ready to step up) on residential housing projects
• Strong background in traditional or mixed tenure housing developments
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
