Overview

A contractor with numerous projects across Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on an upcoming Residential project in Athlone, consisting of apartment refurbishment and new build works.

Job Summary

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years' experience in setting out on construction sites.
• Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed use projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
