They are currently seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team in Waterford, where they have an exciting, long-term opportunity on a key residential development. Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of the site, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards, in line with project specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and other site staff to ensure the smooth running of the site.
- Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring all works are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage and report on site progress, including work schedules and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
- Liaise with the design team to resolve technical issues and ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain detailed site records and reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working on residential construction projects, with at least 2 years in a senior engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in site engineering and construction processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Full driving license.
- Competitive salary of €70,000 - €80,000 per annum.
