Senior Rota Co ordinator - full time, fixed term (12 months) supporting the Obstetrics and Gynaecology medical rotas within Women's Clinical Skills Unit (CSU). The role involves the management and development of medical rotas, on call schedules and staff leave within the CSU, while working closely with clinicians.
Main duties- Manage and develop medical rotas for the Women's CSU.
- Create, maintain and adapt rotas to meet clinical and administrative requirements.
- Prioritise workload, work independently and respond to short notice changes.
- Oversee all on call rotas within Women's CSU.
- Approve and manage medical staff annual leave, study leave and sickness leave.
- Act as the focal point of communication for all medical staff within the CSU and with external bodies.
- Operate within the agreed locum budget for medical staffing.
- Experience or strong knowledge of rota management in an NHS environment.
- Excellent organisational, communication and decision making skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to short notice changes.
This post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
