The Sr. RME Engineer will have a significant impact on customer experience. Will have the ability to lead and manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines, develop plans on how to accomplish engineering departmental goals. The Sr. RME Engineer will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the Fulfillment Centre team. Performance Management will be carried out. This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfilment Centre (FC). The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.
Key job responsibilities- Sr RME Engineer is the shift leader responsible for handling breakdowns, Incident; Stakeholders conflict, preparing incident report for SEV2, review Compass, COEs prepared by RME Supervisor
- Spare part issuing approval during on-duty night shift and weekend shift

- Serve as the main point of escalation for complex issues, be able to facilitate cross-functional meetings, listen intensely, establish the facts and make key decisions.
- Implement meeting routines, KPI's and mechanism's that will ensure, work processes, systems, vendors, quality, productivity, training and labor management are met.
- Collaborate with category procurement and stakeholders to ensure that productive contracts and SLA's are in place with 3P vendors.
- Daily follow up on Sim ticketing system and CMMS system work order (APM)
- Collaborate with other RME teams to ensure best practices are implemented and shared, to optimize asset up-time across the network
- Support the RME to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
- Support Automation engineer in the MHE control systems fault Troubleshooting
- 5+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- 5+ years of using a computer maintenance management system in planning, scheduling and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Knowledge of diverse MHS, industrial mechanical and electrical systems and automation, controls and robotics systems
- Experience in functional maintenance in a reliability centered maintenance environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Projects software
- 2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience
- Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance
