Job Description
We are partnering with a leading medical device manufacturer in Mayo to support hiring an experienced Senior R&D Engineer.
This role will focus on introducing new materials, processes and technologies, while supporting existing product platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support across product development and manufacturing teams.
- Lead or support projects involving new materials, coatings and process improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation in line with regulatory and design control requirements.
- Develop test protocols, coordinate builds and analyse results.
- Represent R&D on cross functional teams through product commercialisation.
- 5+ years' experience in R&D, Process Development or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, coatings or surface technologies.
- Experience with hydrophilic coatings would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of medical device design controls and regulated environments.
- Strong problem solving, project management and communication skills.
- Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or related discipline.
