Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering Consultancy - Strong Project Pipeline

Your new company : I am currently recruiting for a well-established and respected civil engineering contractor based in Chorley, delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundworks projects across the Northwest. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth and project delivery.
Your new role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for:

• Managing project costs from tender through to final account
• Preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial success
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Supporting junior QS staff and contributing to team development
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial obligations

What you'll need to succeed :

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts

Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field

Full UK driving licence
