Senior Quality Engineer

Prysmian is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to work in the Wrexham factory within manufacturing of power cables and network components. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will have a broad range of responsibilities in order to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards, customer expectations and relevant regulatory requirement. The role involves monitoring, testing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and repeatability as well as working on reducing variations and cost of poor quality. The role requires a high level of, both, hands-on and soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, leadership and coordination competencies. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining quality control plans and procedures for different product families according to existing standards and specific customer requirements.An experienced senior quality engineer with a hands-on and can-do attitude, able to drive improvement projects in a fast-pace manufacturing environment. Someone with strong problem-solving skills and attention to details, proficient in quality standards, test methodologies and statistical analysis tools. and efficiency in the work they do. Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document findings clearly. Someone capable We are looking for a senior quality professional with educational background in or equivalent work experience in quality in a manufacturing environment; Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification is advantageous.
