We are currently looking to appoint a Senior Quality Engineer to join a growing international manufacturer in the North West!

The appointed will be exposed to all areas of quality assurance (ISO9001, customer complaints and supplier audits) and have some involvement in H&S, Energy and Environmental policies.

It is important you have worked for a fast-paced manufacturing company and have at least five years of quality engineer experience.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
Handle customer complaints, investigate and implement effective corrective actions
Maintenance and development of the corrective action systems (NCR and Audit)
Day to day involvement with ISO9001 accredited quality management system
Maintain the approved suppliers list for the UK and EU suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits

Your Skills & Experience:
Minimum of ONC/OND with over 5 years of industry experience in a quality management role
Experienced with audits, lead auditor training would be beneficial
Knowledge of ISO9001 required. Knowledge of ISO14001 / ISO18001 advantageous
Practical experience of co-ordinating and initiating improvement activities with 8D / root cause analysis
